If you are a follower of design competitions from the world of Ferrari, you may recognize the Aliante as it was first designed in 2011. However, Daniel Soriano recently went back to the drawing board and redesigned the wild Ferrari to create what we see now.
After more than 7 years, and after professional experience working with Lamborghini, Volvo, Polestar, and others, Soriano decided to redesign and reshape it from scratch in his spare time to satisfy his curiosity and discover how much he has improved and learned over the past years.
The first thing that stands out from the car is its aggressive streamlined design. At first glance, you will notice how low the front of the car is and the wheel arches protrude on both sides of the front of the car amazingly. The wheel arches not only look amazing, but the driver will have a clear view, allowing him to position the car perfectly in the turn.
The large air intake at the front of the car is in black, complementing the low nose of the car, and a pair of triangular headlights.
Then comes the unique windshield with an aggressive shape with two heights to direct air to the large engine air intake behind the driver.
We will notice that there are no moving doors for the car, as huge air intakes have been placed on the sides of the car, distinguished by their black color to give more aggression to the design and contain the distinctive Ferrari logo in yellow.
From the inside, we will find Soriano’s passion for Ferrari history, as there is a steering wheel inspired by old models, circular gauges in yellow, sports seats, and a distinctive manual transmission with six-speed tracks, which we hope will return.
We cannot ignore the transparent engine cover, which also acts as an air intake to help cool and show off the 12-cylinder engine in a V-shaped shape.
The rear of the amazing Aliante Barchetta includes two circular taillights and a rear wing integrated with the body of the car, large circular exhaust outlets, and a vertical multi-blade air diffuser to better manage air under the car.
And let’s not forget the huge metal wheels that fill the arches, with a distinctive design in black that looks like a single block with the body of the car and contains inside them the huge brake discs capable of curbing this wild horse.
Looking at the design, we find that it is an integrated package of aerodynamic components that together form a unique design with an aggressive character capable of igniting the roads.
We hope that Ferrari is interested in producing this distinctive design.
